Master of Science in International Health
The Master of Science in International Health (MScIH) is a flexible modular study programme, which can be studied full-or part-time. The regular study period is two years (full-time), but may be up to one year shorter if relevant professional experience has already been gained before the studies. The Master of Science degree is awarded by Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Public Health
The Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Public Health (DTMPH) is addressed to international physicians who wish to practice Tropical Medicine, and to German physicians who wish to acquire the sub-specialisation ("Zusatzbezeichnung") Tropenmedizin. It requires 18.5 weeks of full-time study. The certificate is issued by the Institute of Tropical Medicine and International Health.
Diploma in International Public Health
The Diploma in International Public Health (DIPH) is directed to health practicioners who wish to expand their knowledge and skills in International Health with a focus on Health Economics and Project Management. It requires 19 weeks of full-time study. The certificate is issued by the Institute of Tropical Medicine and International Health.
Guest Students / Short Course Certificates
Our programme is open to guest students who wish to take just one or few modules without signing up for a specific programme. The duration depends on the module(s) selected. Upon completion of the module guest students receive a short course certificate by the Institute of Tropical Medicine and International Health.
