Courses of study

All programmes are open for international applicants. Applications from low-and middle-income countries are especially encouraged.

Master of Science in International Health

The Master of Science in International Health (MScIH) is the most comprehensive training we offer, and requires one year full time study, or up to five years in part-time study mode. It may be combined with the Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Public Health and/or the Diploma in International Public Health.

Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Public Health

The Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Public Health (DTMPH) is addressed to international physicians who wish to practice Tropical Medicine, and for German physicians who wish to acquire the sub-specialization ("Zusatzbezeichnung") Tropenmedizin. It requires 18.5 weeks of full-time study.

Diploma in International Public Health

The Diploma in International Public Health (DIPH) is geared towards health practicioners who wish to expand their knowledge and skills in Health Economics and Project Management. It requires 19 weeks of full-time study.

Short Course Certificates

Short Course Certificates (SCC) are for learners who wish to complete just one or more of the courses offered without signing up for a specific programme. The duration depends on the selected course or courses.
